Michael Buble took the stage again after nine months break.
The singer performed at the Annual Apple Music Festival in London last Wednesday, September 28. He described the experience to be ‘scared as hell’ as this was his first performance after undergoing surgery nine months ago.
For someone whose work depends in his voice, the surgery on his vocal chords was considered as a career threatening operation.
It was in May 2016 when he announced that he won’t be able to perform on his upcoming shows that were already scheduled. He cancelled his show in Marvin Gaye Tribute at the Kennedy Center that was supposed to be last June. He was even set to receive the National Arts Centre Award at the Governor General’s Performing Arts Awards but this was moved to next year due to same reasons. He explained to his fans that he was taking a break due to the vocal chords surgery. Nevertheless, he assured his fans that his doctors expect full recovery.
