Honoring David Bowie Part 11: The Years of the Tin Machine

Bowie, Gabrels, and the Sales brothers came together in what had to be the most unexpected combined effort in the history of music. Bowie had never considered the idea of being a band to be a good one, he was far too much an independent artist, and was very much used to being listened to. This was to play into the reason he decided that the group needed to be a band, and how “Tin Machine” got added to the legacy of Bowie and the rest of the pepole involved.

In this installment of “Honoring David Bowie”, we’re going to talk more about Tin Machine, and what it would come to mean to the legacy of music.
